Making A Purchase
Making a purchase could not be easier. Just browse our Cataloge, and click on any items that you wish to buy and put them into the shopping cart. After you have finished your selection, click on "Order" and you will be asked for a few details that we need to be able to satisfy the order.
We accept credit card payment. If you are shopping from North America or anywhere else, place your order and your credit card company will convert the transaction to US Dollars or your own currency.
We accept Visa, Mastercard, Amex, Switch, Diners, Solo and JCB. You may send your credit card information via phone, fax, post or email.
Shipping And Handling All products are shipped by airmail to overseas destinations unless otherwise requested. The minimum shipping charge is £3.99 – Parcelforce Standard Rate or International Standard Rates apply to all items shipped dependant on packaged weight.
Delivery Schedule We send your order within 3-4 working days of receipt. You should receive your order within 7–10 business days. International orders are generally received in under14 days.
Back Orders
If your item is not in stock, we will back order for you and advise you to this effect.
Tax Charges
For orders made from the UK or the European Union, 17.5% VAT is added. All other orders are VAT free and you should click the Exempt button to reduce VAT to zero.
Credit Card Security
We know of no documented cases of credit card fraud using our shopping system over the internet. All credit card numbers are encrypted in the software when the order is placed using 128 bit encryption. They are only decrypted after they reach our computer. They are not held in clear text on any website.

Our Ethical Trading Policy
We have 2 over riding priorities on ethical trade – the welfare of workers in our supply chain and ensuring a sustainable environment impact.
Shepherd & Woodward uses the Ethical Trading Initiative (ETI) base code as its standard for all primary suppliers across all its business.
The code states;
- 1. Employment is freely chosen
- 2. Freedom of association and the right to collective bargaining are respected.
- 3. Working conditions are safe and hygienic
- 4. Child labour shall not be used
- 5. Living wages are paid
- 6. Working hours are not excessive

Refurbishment
Even with careful use robes and gowns will require attention from time to time. Shepherd & Woodward provide a comprehensive aftercare service carried out by our skilled staff, which extends from minor repairs to complete refurbishment.
Each garment is assessed individually and a quotation given prior to any work being udertaken. This includes the cost of expert dry cleaning, which must be carried out on every article before work can begin.
