Refund policy
We have a 30-day return policy for online orders, (which means you have 28 days after receiving your item to request a return).
To be eligible for a return, your item must be in the same condition that you received it, unworn or unused, with tags, and in its original packaging. You will need to provide proof of purchase.
To start a return, you can contact us at enquiries@shepwood.co.uk or on 01865 249491 stating the reason for the return, We will give you instructions on how and where to send your package, please include a cover letter and a copy of your proof of purchase. Items sent back to us without first requesting a return will not be accepted.

Unless goods are deemed the fault of the manufacturer, all postage costs are the responsibility of the customer and will require payment prior to the dispatch of any replacement goods. This does not affect your statutory rights.
Damages and Issues
Please inspect your order upon reception and contact us immediately if the item is defective, damaged or if you have received the wrong item.
Exceptions / non-returnable items
Certain types of items cannot be returned, such as perishable goods (food, flowers, or plants), custom products (special orders or personalized items), and personal care goods (perfume or beauty products). We do not accept returns for hazardous materials, flammable liquids, or gases. Please get in touch if you have questions or concerns about your specific item.
Refund and Returns Policy for Hire Garments
1. Payments can be made by the lead person, or any other member of your group mentioned on the order, prior to collecting or delivering each outfit.
2. Where your order is made within 30 days of the collection or delivery date, it must be paid for in full immediately.
3. Where a refund is made for any reason, we will refund to the original payment method. Please note, this could take up to 10 working days.
4. If payment fails or is not authorised, we will not be liable for delay or non-delivery of your order.
5. If garments are return damage or heavily soiled, the customer will be required to pay the repair or replacement cost
6. Hire garments and accessories must be returned immediately after use. Any hires beyond 2 days of the agreed return date, will be charged at ½ hire fee extra (per day).
7. There is a £30 charge for a non-return of the supplied suit cover.
Formal Hire Cancellation and Refunds Policy
- Cancellation: Customers may cancel their order within 72 hours of order placement and receive a full refund, including the deposit, unless the fitting or function date is within seven days of the order date.
- Thereafter, a 50% refund is available until 30 days before the agreed hire period/hire collection date or a credit note for the full amount to be used within 12 months
- No refunds are given within 30 days of the hire period/hire collection date
Academic Hire Cancellation and Refunds Policy
- Cancellation: Customers may cancel their order within 72 hours of order placement and receive a full refund, including the deposit, unless the fitting or function date is within seven days of the order date.
- Thereafter, a 50% refund is available until 7 days before the agreed hire period/hire collection date.
- No refunds are given within 7 days of the hire period/hire collection date
